Communications
The Communications course at Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute enhances and supports the technical programs by providing students technically skilled tools necessary to become competent workers and/or entrepreneurs in the workforce. Communications' curricular foundation is based on teaching students to embrace self-efficacy by empowering them with every workforce related tool associated with becoming accustomed to societal work related expectancies. At the end of each course, students will have completed four phases, Communications 1 through 4. Combined, each helps to build students character, confidence, work attitude, leadership and teamwork skills, and communications skills.

I am a product of the Forrest City School District graduating from FCHS in 2001.  I then began my post-secondary education at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.  I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 2006.  In August of 2006 I began to work for Arkansas Department of Correction.  I was employed with ADC for 8 ½ years working as a Corporal and Training Supervisor.  I began my employment with Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute as the Communications Instructor in January 2015.

I want to have a lasting and positive influence on OUR students here at CRTI.  My expectations for the students here at Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute, are to be hard working and determined to accomplish the things they want out of life.

Know who you are, and be it
Know what you want, and go out and get it!
