JOB DUTIES:

Teach adult education classes; administer student assessment test; prepare lesson plans; prepare student educational plans; maintain classroom equipment; maintain office ans student records; participate in professional development activities; and other duties as assigned. (Some of the classes may be in the evening and/or off campus in business/industry facilities.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal education of a Bachelor's degree in the vocational area being taught; PLUS two years experience in the vocation being taught. (All candidates must possess these qualifications to be eligible for consideration.)

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Current Arkansas Teachers Certificate or Vocational Endorsement as applicable or be eligible to hold same.

FISCAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

JOB DUTIES:

The Fiscal Support Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard regular support duties within an assigned department or program. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus two years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and ability to work with post-secondary fiscal support student enrollment i.e. tuition payment options, credit and clock hours programs. Knowledge in the appropriation of financial aid programs and attendance reports for credit and clock hours programs as governed by federal and state policies. Knowledge and ability to maintain student enrollment, student accounts, and bills.
