Mission Statement

The mission of the Residential Heat & Air Conditioning Program at Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute is to provide the training necessary for students to be competitive in the workforce by strengthening the basic, occupational, communication, and technical skills required to become economically self-sufficient or to use acquired training as a foundation to higher education.

Welcome to the world of Heat and Air. This program offers training in a all aspects of heat and air conditioning. You will learn about brazing, basic electricity (as applied in the HVAC industry), how to use meters, how to troubleshoot units, and much more. During the occasions spent in the shop, you will be given ample time to apply what you have learned in the classroom.

The HVAC industry offers many career options. The positions include: technicians, installers, parts people, warehouse managers, or you can open your own business.

Instructor Biography - Robert Jackson

I have over 30 plus years experience in the Heat and Air industry.  I worked in construction from 1975 to 1983.  I worked on air conditioning units at Halstead.  I have spent the past 14 years running my own Heat and Air business.
